Blueberry Spinach Smoothie

Ingredients
¾ cup low-fat milk or you favorite milk alternative*
1 cup fresh spinach
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
3 tablespoons old-fashioned oats
1 cup frozen blueberries
Toppings
Optional toppings: 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

*If using a milk alternative, make sure it provides at least 30% of your daily calcium needs per serving.

PREPARATION 

  1. Place milk and spinach in the blender. Blend for 10 seconds, giving the greens some extra blend time. 

  2. Next add the yogurt, oats, frozen blueberries, and cinnamon (is using). 

  3. Blend until smooth.

  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
