Austin’s reputation for success makes hunger here so hard to stomach. In the fastest growing city in the nation, the percentage of Central Texans who are hungry or at risk of hunger is growing at nearly double the growth rate of the overall population.
But we have good news. Something incredible is about to happen that will make Austin a more connected city. It’s Amplify Austin, and it begins at 6:00 P.M. March 5.
Amplify Austin, through a marathon 24 hours of giving, turns philanthropy into a social activity. It creates a connection that benefits everyone. This is our “I’m here. I can help” moment.
