Central Texas Food Bank Receives Grant from the Morgan Stanley Foundation to Support Children Programs

Jul10

The Central Texas Food Bank is excited to announce a $32,000 grant from the Morgan Stanley Foundation. This vital funding directly supports our children's programs, helping to ensure no child goes hungry in Central Texas this summer.

Summer can be a challenging time for families struggling with food insecurity. Many children rely on school-provided meals throughout the year, and with schools closed for summer break, these families face a significant gap. Rising childcare and utility costs further strain their budgets, making access to nutritious food even more difficult.

The Morgan Stanley Foundation grant arrives at a perfect time, supporting the Central Texas Food Bank’s expansion of the summer meal program and ensuring that healthy, nutritious foods are provided to our food-insecure neighbors.

Their generosity also goes beyond this grant. In the past year, Morgan Stanley employees have volunteered over 100 hours to the Central Texas Food Bank. This remarkable commitment demonstrates their unwavering dedication to ending hunger in the communities they call home.

With the support of the Morgan Stanley Foundation and dedicated volunteers, the Central Texas Food Bank is making a real difference in the lives of children and families in Central Texas. We are deeply grateful for their partnership as we work to end hunger.
