Canned tuna is one of the most requested items by our clients. Today’s recipe is inspired by our clients' desire to enjoy something new and interesting with tuna beyond the sandwich or noodle casserole. The great part about this recipe is that it’s also kid-friendly. Parents can create the tuna mix beforehand and have their children put the tuna into the boats.

Tuna and White Bean Lettuce Wraps
Prep time: 15 minutes
Serving size: 1 wrap Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 can (12 ounces) light tuna in water, drained and flaked
½ can (7.5 ounces) cannellini beans or great norther beans, rinsed and drained
⅛ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon pepper
4 Bibb or Boston lettuce leaves
½ medium ripe avocado, peeled and sliced
Directions:
- Combine the tuna, beans, red onion, parsley, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper into a bowl and toss it lightly to combine.
- After rinsing and drying the lettuce leaves, lay them openly on the plate.
- Divide the mix evenly, adding ⅓ cup onto the lettuce leaves;
- Top each wrap with avocado and enjoy!
