Austin Restaurant Weeks wrapped up this weekend! After canceling Austin Restaurant Weeks last year due to COVID-19, Austinites were ready to dine out to support the local food and beverage industry and help fight hunger.
For 10 days, patrons had a chance to try specially-crafted dishes and drinks with a portion of each purchase going back to the Food Bank. We are overwhelmed by the support of our community. Thanks to our incredible neighbors who dined out, Austin Restaurant Weeks was a success!
More than 50 eateries, bars and breweries came together to make the event a dining extravaganza. Huge thanks to all the participating restaurants, bars and breweries for making mouth-watering dishes, drinks and prix-fixe menus for Austinites to enjoy.
This year, Delta Air Lines joined Tito’s Handmade Vodka as presenting sponsor. Thank you for making the event possible. We’re so grateful for your support!
In addition to Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Delta Air Lines, this year’s sponsors included Yelp Austin, Becker Vineyards, Austin Subaru, Society Insurance, Edible Austin, Texas Lifestyle and Travel Magazine, Austin Chronicle and Arrow. Thank you to all of our sponsors.
Donation totals are still coming in, but so far we have raised hundreds of thousands of meals for Central Texans facing hunger. Thanks to your support, our most vulnerable neighbors can turn to the Food Bank for healthy, nourishing meals when they need it most.
Though we just wrapped up this year’s Austin Restaurant Weeks, we already can’t wait to see what is served up next year. Thank you to everyone for the overwhelming support in the fight against hunger!
