Changes schmanges. This year’s Austin Reggae Festival turnout did not disappoint. With a new location and a few new rules, we stepped up our game to ensure everyone had a good time, and you returned the favor with unparalleled generosity. Thank you for coming out for the festival and showing your support with donations at the gate, purchasing our swanky, summer-friendly gear and bringing your good vibes. With this year's totals, Austin Reggae festival has raised nearly 2.7 million meals in the last five years. It all adds up to helping us get ready for our busy summer season when more Central Texans turn to our services.
A special shout out and big thanks goes to the organizers of Austin Reggae Festival, all of the festival volunteers and the local companies who donated food and helped keep our staff fueled up and ready for action: Brick Oven Pizza, Chick-fil-A, Einstein Bros Bagels, Shady Grove, Starbucks, Sweetish Hill Bakery & Café, TitleMax and Thundercloud Subs.
We’ll see you next year at the 2015 Austin Reggae Festival, scheduled for April 17-19.
