With support from one of our capacity building grants, they have been able to implement numerous changes to their “small but mighty” organization, which have resulted in many positive outcomes.
The quiet time away from work, an opportunity to learn something new, and the tangible experience of sowing and harvesting vegetables are some of Alex’s favorite things about volunteering in the garden.
