1.35 million meals worth of food + 60,000 sq. ft. warehouse = Volunteers Wanted

The first fleet of trucks carrying donated food from the Souper Bowl of Caring food drive arrived Friday, and we expect many more deliveries in the next few weeks.  You can help us avoid a bottleneck in our hunger relief efforts by signing up to volunteer this month.

Consider this the two-point conversion equivalent of food drives.

As a volunteer, you’ll help inspect, clean, sort and box donations to ensure we only distribute the most nutritious and safe food possible.  Make 2014 the year to volunteer.  Sign up online today, or contact volunteer@austinfoodbank.org to schedule your group.
