Feeding Creativity Gallery Night

Artwork interpreting this year's theme, "Food Unites Us: Celebrating Cultural Connections" from the K-12 students in Central Texas who participated in the Feeding Creativity competition will be on display as the food bank is transformed into an art gallery for one night only. We'll also unveil a freshly wrapped freight truck featuring the grand prize winning design!

We'll have gourmet pizza's featuring fresh ingredients from the food bank's onsite garden made live by a group of team of local chefs led by Philip Speer of Comedor, award-winning queso and tacos from Austin's own Torchy's Tacos and house-made treats from the food bank's own culinary team! Beverages for all ages will be provided including beer, wine, NA drinks and special Juiceland-sponsored kid's bar. 

Creative and participatory art-based activations from local artists and live DJ sets will round out the fun at this family-friendly event!

Adult tickets - $20 
Youth tickets (18 and under) - FREE!

2025 Judges

Melissa Berrara

Melissa Barrera

Melissa is currently in production on Peacock’s espionage thriller series with James Wan and Simu Liu. She most recently starred in ABIGAIL for Universal Pictures. She can also be seen in the horror-romcom YOUR MONSTER, which premiered at Sundance and is streaming on MAX.

She previously starred in Netflix’s limited series, KEEP BREATHING, which premiered at #1 on Netflix. Previous movies include Paramount’s SCREAM VI, Sony Pictures Classics’ CARMEN, opposite Paul Mescal, ALL THE WORLD IS SLEEPING, and Warner Brothers’ adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway musical IN THE HEIGHTS.

Celina Zisman

Celina Zisman - Event Chair and Lead Judge

Celina Zisman (they/she) is a small business strategist supporting makers, musicians and creative solopreneurs in Austin's arts ecosystem. Active in the Austin arts community since 2008, Celina has experience working in non-profit and for-profit galleries, as well as a nationally recognized craft academy. Celina is the current chair of the City of Austin Arts Commission.

An innovative public artist, J Muzacz brings extensive experience and adaptability to every project. He fosters positive relationships through compassionate communication and possesses a wide range of expertise across artistic processes and styles.

Lucy Gross

Lucy Gross

Lucy Gross is a practicing social worker with over a decade of experience supporting adults with disabilities. In addition to her work at SAGE, she brings her expertise to The University of Texas' inclusion program for adults with disabilities.

Zohaib “Zo” Qadri, the first-born child of immigrants and a dedicated community advocate, represents Austin's District 9, where he champions housing affordability, equitable transit, and support for vulnerable residents, drawing on his diverse experience in public administration, legislative work, and grassroots organizing.

Constance White is a seasoned visual artist and arts administrator with over 20 years of experience, currently leading arts and culture programming at Austin Bergstrom International Airport, where she leverages her expertise to position the arts as a key driver of creativity and economic growth in Central Texas .
